Art Deco Style – Why it makes such good jewellery

Art Deco Style

Art Deco Style is everywhere, it was a design movement in 1920’s and since then it’s had a huge affect on just about everything including architecture, fashion, interior design, the arts and film.
But the area where I think Art Deco style has really taken off, is in jewellery.  I love the impression of wearing a little something from the roaring twenties, and the clean, geometric shapes are so flattering against any skin type.

There is something profoundly delicate about the mathematical design that Art Deco style uses when combined with precious metals and stones.

The beautiful Art Deco style can be found in all kinds of jewellery from Art Deco necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings.  But choose your pieces carefully.
Art Deco style jewellery worn altogether can be a little over powering sometimes so it’s really worth spending time getting the right pieces that will flatter and really make an impact.

Whether choosing a vintage piece of Art Deco style or a new piece, the same consideration should go into both.  However, choosing some Art Deco Jewellery with  a little history is a great conversation point and will also add some authenticity to the item.
